Our Story
Well, it all starts with our founder and co-owner Mr. Peter Eby himself in 2004 he left his previous job as on site Foreman and project manager from Kennerly construction were he went on to start Eby framing LLC not even a year later in 2005 after rigorist testing he received his state roofing license changing the name to better fit who we are he started Eby roofing & Framing LLC were we have enjoyed serving St Augustine and surrounding area from north FL all the way past Orlando for years bringing knowledge, trust, proven building and roofing techniques’ that only time in the industry can teach you, and staying true to who we are.
Now I know you notice it said co-owner well that’s because in 2018 Peter son Joshua Eby time in the USMC ended and he decided he wanted to continue the legacy his father started. Growing up in the business he framed and roof with his father every summer gaining knowledge that most people can dream about. After a year back serving as a foreman bringing his core values he was held to and taught in his time in service of honor, courage, and commitment Mr. Peter thought it was time to bring him on as a partner where he got his state builders license in 2026. There Josh came up with the Eby standard (Exceeding Beyond Your expectation) here at Eby we not only want your roof, home, or project to perform we also want it to look good too here at Eby we believe a quality home and roof falls on some key criteria’s: structural integrity, energy efficient, functional design, and occupant heath.
Structural integrity
A home or roof should not only look good but be able to withstand the storm and the changing of the elements to last generation after generation. Here at Eby creating a strong product comes from quality material and strong partnerships with engineers, local supply houses, skilled craftmanship, and architects. Planning for the future, though we build to local codes and to plans we can think ahead for seamless future additions so the structure is less likely to be compromised we can build wood, block, and steel homes depending on the client wants and plans of the home
Occupants Heath
many people suffer from conditions ranging from allergies to immune disorders. Here at Eby our job is to consult with you and design to improve air quality by better insulation, and properly venting roofs and homes, working with HVAC to plan for better air flow. An if you plan on aging with the home we can design easier access to entryways, wider doorways, curb less showers, kitchen and bathroom layouts that are easily accessible for people with disabilities or as you age with the home you can still continue to live more independently

Energy Efficient
Being energy efficient is how much water and electricity do u use while resource efficiency is how good are the materials are they of good quality, durable, and strong. Planning to both type of efficiency’s we can not only save you cost in the long run, but we should be able to save our environment resources by using less. Some of the many simple things we can do to stay efficient is by choosing the right materials or even colors, lighter roofs stay cooler as well as tile floors in a home or project, how we insulate can make a big difference as well as venting by bringing in fresh air what we do is bring our knowledge of roofs systems and work with highly skilled engineers, designers, HVAC installers, and electricians to design more efficient homes

Peter Eby
Founder, owner, & CEO With over 40 years’ experience in the the trade our founder began his journey working for waterproof & specialists where he gained his knowledge of roofing from a young start where he learned multiple different styles of roofing tile, shingle, metal, flat roof systems (ex-hot mop, Tpo, modified and so on) after meeting and marrying the love of his life Kimberly Eby he went to work for his father in law Kennerly construction which was a general contractor and roofing business located here in St Augustine were he served as foreman up until he decided it was time to start Eby roofing and framing LLC in 2005 ever since then he has been committed to quality, trust, fair pricing and has completed numerous jobs as sub-contractor for multiple contractors in the area who seek in guidance and knowledge hired to frame, siding, structural tie downs, set windows & doors, finish work like ceiling and handrails , and roof systems we are usually there from start to finish on all custom & commercial jobs. He deeply cares for his product and continues to work hard at it to this very day.

Focused, approachable, and driven by results, every job is handled by him and his father working together. Josh has been working with his father for over 10 years in the field he is knowledgeable in roofing and custom home building, after graduating high school in 2013 he enlisted in the Marine corps where he held the mos. as 0311/8152 serving in Afghanistan as squad leader in Charlie company 1PLT 3rd squad 1 battalion second marines where he learn useful leadership traits and core value that he follows and brought over with him. Staying strong to his beliefs josh remains dedicated to the mission to complete the perfect project obviously he understands nothing is perfect but by finding problems and fixing them during the design phase we can mitigate future problems that arise as a customer you can have peace of mind knowing josh and peter will work with you to complete the project and providing a product that last and is functional
